Our policies

Children

Children are welcome to stay in our properties but must fit within the maximum occupancy. .

Pets

Dogs are welcome in the following properties only - The Old Library, Silver Hill, Keepers, Catbells, The Lodge and Rosetrees. A charge of £25 will be added for each dog up to a maximum of 2 per property. Other pets are not permitted.

Smoking

Strictly no smoking.

Check In & Check Out Times

Earliest check in is 4.30pm. Latest check in is 10.00pm. We kindly ask that you check out by 9.30am.

Holiday Insurance: We strongly advise all of our customers to take out holiday/cancellation insurance.

Lost Property: The Lingholm Estate are not liable for any of the client’s lost property. Reasonable effort will be made by The Lingholm Estate to inform the lead guest of any lost property items that are found by the housekeeping staff. Lost property will be held by The Lingholm Estate for a period of 1 month, after this time the items will be disposed of. An administration fee of £10 plus postage and packaging may be charged to the guest to cover the handling of lost property. The Lingholm Estate does not accept any responsibility returning lost items.
